On this blog, I'm going to leave the CD's on the shelf and vent my frustrations with the current state of political affairs. Our country has problems. Our tax burden is worse than our founding fathers fought a revolution over. Our Federal government has grown into a monstrosity that would make Paul Revere start riding again. We're back...in the United States' Socialist Republic!

ARE AMERICANS TOO DUMB TO LIVE (THE NEW SEASON)?
Now this may be the case with all television stations, but the ones in Arizona really think their viewers are DUMB.
Warranted or not.
Notice anything about the picture below?
I mean, besides the fact that Caribe Devine is smokin' hot?
If you look at the outlook, on Thursday, they predict a high of 92.
Friday, they call for 97, and Saturday, 99.
Now you might be thinking "92-that's low for Phoenix in early October," but that's not what I'm looking at here.
I'm looking at Caribe.
And the fact that she felt the need to add the word "warmer" on those days where the temperature was higher than 92 degrees.
You see, beautiful, we kind of got that when THE NUMBER was HIGHER.
You see why McCarthy and I rag on Arizona?

Oh, and she's a bit scrawny for me. Don't you feed the girls down there?
ReplyDeleteWell I'd offer to take her out for a meal, but I'm guessing I'm closer to her grandparent's age...
DeleteIt makes me wonder if most people are so dumb they need the extra warning that higher degrees equals warmer weather...

ReplyDeleteThat (literally) made me Guffaw-Out-Loud.
Oh, yes, thanks so much for adding the word "warmer" because, frankly, I wasn't certain that 99 is warmer than 92 and 97. I mean, I THOUGHT it was... I REALLY did. (I don't want to come off seeming like a maroon or nuttin'.) But, still, I wasn't absolutely, 100% CERTAIN that 99 is warmer than 92 or 97. So I did appreciate the helpful little "highlight" there.
And, by the way, I personally think that "99" was hotter'n Caribe Devine. (Too bad "99" wound up with "86".)

I need to turn on the TV-want to see if it's warmer today...
ReplyDeleteBe nice to young Caribe...although I'm not buying that that's her real name.
Wow...Barbara Feldon...that's a crush from my youth. Anne Hathaway played the role in the recent remake-the only reason to watch it...
WAIT, SO ON WEDNESDAY IT'S DOWN TO 93. IS THAT COOLER? WHY WASN'T THIS LABELED I'M SO CONFUSED. I EXPECT CARIBE TO COME TO MY HOUSE FOR PERSONAL INSTRUCTIONS.
