KAEPERNICK DOESN'T MATTER

After his first notable protest against what last week he called the “systematic oppression” of minorities in the United States, and saying he wants “freedom for all people,” Colin Kaepernick put on a T-shirt that featured a supportive image of one of the 20th century’s most enduring oppressors, Fidel Castro.

Way to go, Colin, you've show that you are a clueless idiot.

And by the way, Kaepernick is just as pathetic on the field as he is in his role as freedom fighter.

With an 0-5 record, he is not making a difference on the field either.

  1. And I loved that Suh made that game ending tackle on him Sunday. I wonder if he told Kap, "Yep, Geico's as fast and friendly as it gets. WHOOO!"

  2. I think if Suh made that comment, the refs might have considered it an excessive celebration...

  3. Maybe he's just taking a note from Justin Trudeau, who praised Fidel Castro for being a remarkable leader who loved his people and served them for half a century.

I practically got misty eyed reading that.

BTW, in the offseason Colin Kaepernick was in talks to be traded to the Broncos since we needed a QB, but he wanted way too much money and we ultimately said no thanks, not worth it. Yeah, I think we made the right call on that one.

    1. Wow. "A remarkable leader?"

Oh, right-Trudeau is from Canada. He's probably confusing Castro with a cigar manufacturer.

And the Broncos definitely made the right call.

  4. I've heard that he wants to look for a new team when his current contract runs out at the end of the year. I'm sure teams are lining up with big money offers--not!

Doesn't matter to me one way or another since I don't watch football or any sports for that matter. Those guys are way overpaid anyway.

    1. Yeah, Lee, my interest in football has waned with each passing year. A bunch of steriod-infused prima-donnas running around beating their girlfriends, and the the whole country acting surprised that it happens.

Oh and concussions from collisions between three-hundred pound behemoths going at full speed? Who would have seen that coming?

I know somewhere in between all that horse maneur there are some decent people who are simply playing a game to the best of their ability, but like our politics, the loudest mouths get the microphone.
