INSPIRING? BETTER THAN VALIUM!

Apparently , Kenya Boy’s budget speech was so trite and full of the same old bipartisan nonsense that it even put Joe Biden to sleep.

I kid you not! Check out these links!

Hyped as a speech about cutting the deficit, Obama instead delivered a speech about why not to cut spending and why to preserve all of his programs. Attempting to position himself as the grown-up in the room, Obama instead made it clear that nearly everything that he "believe[s] in" should remain untouched. Anything else would reflect a lack of "patriotism," the president implied.

Using words to mean something they've never meant before is standard fare for this administration.

When our favorite illegal alien spoke of lowering "spending in the tax code," it was in the context of his desire to raise rates for upper-income Americans. Under Bill Clinton, the top tax rate was 39.6 percent, but today it's 35 percent. That extra 4.6 percent of income that a successful American gets to keep -- to Obama that counts as "spending" by the government.

The speech was a defense of his own policies and an attack on Republicans. Obama attacked Republicans for opposing tax increases as "an article of faith." The phrase was meant to put down an unbending dogma at a time when "tough choices" are needed.

But Obama has repeatedly shown steadfastness on Democratic "articles of faith" -- consider his willingness to shut down government over Planned Parenthood funding last week, and his adherence to his own tax credits.

Obama believes in sacrifices, but not by him.

Oh, and by the way-if you oppose any of his policies-you’re a racist.

There's a lot of bad 'isms' floatin' around this world, but one of the worst is racism. Make a buck, make a buck. Even in Brooklyn it's the same - don't care what Christmas stands for, just make a buck, make a buck.

Hmmm… maybe I’m gettin’ my racism mixed up with my commercialism.

Anyway, guess I’m a racist too. I didn't know it, but the culture gatekeepers say I am.

  2. I haven't heard too many good words about Obama's latest speech and as the old axiom goes about what pictures say, Biden said it best.

  3. Lee-

Kind of embarassing for Biden. Sadly, the American people do not seem to all be on board that there is a government spending problem that will go critical mass within a decade, so they buy into Obama's "Let's tax the rich" mantra.

The "rich" put Obama in office. You really think he's gonna bite the hand that feeds him?

Funny how all the budgets that presidents of both parties sumit never seem to take extraordinary action until after they're out of office, just in time for the next President to veto it....

  4. McDogg-

You know I never remember movies. "Scrooge" or "Christmas Story?"

Incidentally, the racist comment is tongue in cheek. A few weeks ago, Donald Trump was on some talk show with Whoopi Goldberg (who always has repulsed me)wanting to see Obama's birth certificate, and she called him a racist.

Anyone who does not worship at the Obamessiah's feet is apparently motivated by prejudice.

It couldn't be because he's a dumb shit tax and spend Communist ass who looks like Afred E. Neuman from Mad magazine....it has to be because he's black.

    He's Black?

Just like a "racist" to notice the man's skin color! You guys are all the same!

No, the movie dialogue that I adapted most of my previous comment from was "Miracle On 34th Street". (At least you caught the "Christmas" theme of it anyway.)
