On this blog, I'm going to leave the CD's on the shelf and vent my frustrations with the current state of political affairs.
Our country has problems.
Our tax burden is worse than our founding fathers fought a revolution over.
Our Federal government has grown into a monstrosity that would make Paul Revere start riding again.
We're back...in the United States' Socialist Republic!
I think the Internet and all of the changes it has brought with it have actually made the generation gap even wider. I talk to Corey and Haley (19 and 18, respectively) and they don't know life before the Internet. It has shaped their thinking far more than anything else in their lives.
Sorry it's taken me so long to reply, Robin-I used to get e-mail notifications when I got a comment, but now I don't, so unless I go into the dashboard and select "awaiting moderation," I don't know a comment is there.
What scares me most is that the young of today are getting their news from the Internet and may not be skeptical enough about the source of that news.
That sums up things pretty well.

We live in interesting times....
Hope all is well with you!
