KAEPERNICK DOESN'T MATTER

After his first notable protest against what last week he called the “systematic oppression” of minorities in the United States, and saying he wants “freedom for all people,” Colin Kaepernick put on a T-shirt that featured a supportive image of one of the 20th century’s most enduring oppressors, Fidel Castro.

Way to go, Colin, you've show that you are a clueless idiot.

And by the way, Kaepernick is just as pathetic on the field as he is in his role as freedom fighter.

With an 0-5 record, he is not making a difference on the field either.

TIS' THE SEASON

This is how Black Friday shoppers, obviously filled with the spirituality of the Christmas season, left a Nike factory store in Tulaip, Washington.

O come all ye faithful, indeed...

THE UNBIASED MEDIA?

Here is the headline I saw....

TRUMP SUPPORTER BLAMES SLOW STARBUCKS SERVICE ON 'ANTI-WHITE DISCRIMINATION'

And here is the actual story...(LINK HERE)

A man at a Florida Starbucks was caught on video yelling "Trump" and blaming "anti-white discrimination" for not getting his coffee more quickly on Wednesday.

The Miami Herald reported that Jorge de Cárdenas posted a video on Twitter at 5 p.m. Wednesday that showed a man at a Starbucks near the University of Miami yelling at an employee after he said his wait for his coffee was too long. During the 2-minute video, the man is seen asking for his money back before insulting the employee.

"You’re trash," he said to the female cashier, according to the Herald. "'Cause I voted for Trump. Trump. You lost, now give me my money back. You’re garbage. You’re complete trash."

Cárdenas told the Miami New Times that the man blamed the delayed coffee on "anti-white discrimination." "He said it was 'anti-white discrimination,'" he said. "So he started disparaging the staff.

One patron called him an (expletive), so he said, '(Expletive) you, (expletive).' That's when I started filming."

Cárdenas said the other customer told the man that "there’s no need to talk like that" and said he should "take it outside," the New Times reported. Cárdenas said the two men "almost came to blows."

The Herald has since talked to the man, David Sanguesa, 53, who said he was having a bad day. The Herald noted that was just Sanguesa's latest bad day, writing that he had "one in 2008 when he was arrested on a DUI charge. The one a week later when he was again charged with DUI. And the day in 2014 in when he was charged with domestic violence, which was later dropped. And there were all those days, going back years, when he emailed the Miami Herald with rants against Cubans, women, immigrants, gays and lesbians, President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton."

Now here is why I object. If I were to publish this EXACT same story, but change the headline to read "Gay Man," "Lesbian Woman," "Black Man (or Woman)," "Transgender Man (or Woman)," or even "Muslim Man (or Woman)," I would get hate mail because the fact that the perpetrator was gay or lesbian or black or transgender or muslim has nothing to do with the event.

Yet what is going on here is indicative of a week and a half of media manipulation of the public to further undermine a Trump administration.

Do not misunderstand me-Mr. Sanguesa acted inappropriately (and that is putting it nicely), but his behavior really has nothing to do with his political leanings.

This "news" story has absolutely NOTHING to do with Donald Trump!

Don't get me wrong-Trump has given the media (and stand-up comedians) a boatload of material to work with, and I am not trying to liken this one story to an attempt at defaming Ghandi.

I am sick of the fact that all Trump voters are being portrayed as neo-Nazis.

Remember, the Palm Beach Post led with the word "Trump," implying that the story had more to do with the president-elect than it did the ravings of an (at least at that moment) unbalanced person.

What is funny is, Trump did appeal to a lot of people who might be broad brushed as narrow minded and possibly even jingoistic.

Want to know why I think that is?

For eight years, the supposedly "enlightened" and "inclusive" left treated that segment of the population like shit.

And guess what?

They came out and voted for change, while the arrogant left stayed home thinking they had the election in the bag.

So today, my post is a hearty "Fuck You" to the media, and a heart-felt "Get Over Yourself" to the idiots still holding anti-Trump rallies.

My post is also a plea to the Trump voters.

You won.

Be better than they are and stop rubbing it in.

And be better than they were during the Kenyan years and remember that the country belongs to all of us, even though not everyone acts that way.

THE DEVIL MADE THEM DO IT

Proof of devil worship in Tempe, Arizona?

Organizers of an after-school Satan club at Point Defiance Elementary School in Tacoma, Washington, have the green light to proceed, according to the Tacoma News Tribune.

The club would be the first after-school Satan club in Washington state, according to Seattle chapter head Lilith Starr. An earlier request to start a club in Mount Vernon was withdrawn because of scheduling issues with the school district there, she said.

After-school Satan clubs are being formed in nine communities around the United States, Starr told the Tacoma News Tribune.

Pastors from all over the city packed Shiloh Baptist Church Tuesday night, frustrated that the Satanic Temple of Seattle is establishing the after-school program at Point Defiance Elementary.

"We want to cut this off and defeat it before it ever gets a chance to take root," said one pastor.

"We are the taxpayers here and we ought to stand up and let them know they are not welcome, they don’t pay taxes here," said another leader.

STS had targeted a school in Mount Vernon, but shifted focus to Point Defiance to provide a counterpoint to the school’s already established Christian-based Good News club.

The Satanists bill themselves as all about scientific and critical thinking, not as devil worshipers.

Religious leaders feel this attitude is a gateway to introduce anti-religious ideology.

The Satanic Temple is a national organization headquartered in Salem, Massachusetts.

Volunteers sponsored by The Satanic Temple of Seattle will host an open house for Point Defiance parents, students, teachers and staff members Dec. 14, two days before the start of winter break.

Two questions...

(1) How is it that children cannot even wear a cross to school due to the alleged "separation of church and state" in the Constitution, but Satanists are allowed to congregate on that same "state" property.

(2) What will be served at the open house? Blood and vomit?

Your public education dollars in action! And people made fun of my brother for home schooling his children so they'd be exposed to the right values!

It used to be I just hated Seattle because of the Seahawks...thank you STS for giving me a much better reason!

HOW I WON THE ELECTION FOR TRUMP

Over the past several days, there have been a lot of theories posted about how Donald Trump won the election-apparently it was all of the uneducated racist misogynistic blue collar louts who turned out in record numbers.

Or was it?

Here is a chart showing voter turnout for the last few presidential elections.

Doesn't seem like there were more voters out in 2016.

If you look at votes by party (graph is from HERE) it tells the story.

Republican turnout is essentially flat, but for Democrats, the turnout dipped drastically.

Trump did not win.

Clinton lost.

My theory is there were a couple of factors.

It seems that a lot of Democrats who turned out for Obama did do so for Clinton, which would seem to indicate that maybe Clinton did not appeal to the same block of voters that Obama did.

I had also commented to my girlfriend while watching the returns that I did not like that projections from the east were released while polls in the west were open, thinking that the feeble minded people in the west would go with the crowd (I'm in AZ-if you've been here, you get the joke).

A lot of people, myself included, were predicting Clinton would win big. For the record, I am happy I was wrong.

My theory is that a lot of Democrats stayed home, thinking it was in the bag.

To me, this election cycle told the story that Americans are sick of the same old crap. That is why Trump won the nomination, and why Bernie Sanders almost won his before the Clinton Machine put a stop to it.

And while the low Democratic turnout may not all have been dissatisfied voters, I believe much of it was.

People did not vote against Hilary because they are sexist-we voted against her because she is corrupt and scary.

Johnson and Stein did not cause Clinton to lose-my suspicion is that Johnson diverted far more votes from Trump, and Stein was far less of a factor.

Trump won in part because people wanted true change and that was worth the gamble in spite of his often damning sound bytes.

And mainly because prognosticators gave Democratic voters a false sense of security.

So because I have been saying for months that Clinton would win big, Trump won.

Doesn't that entitle me to a cabinet post?
