LET'S GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME!

Good news and bad news for American Idol alum and Voice mentor Kelly Clarkson. Her latest album, Stronger, experienced a slight jump in sales on Amazon after the singer endorsed Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on Twitter. Since then, however, Clarkson has found herself having to defend her politics, with some fans accusing her of supporting racism, the death penalty, and opposing same-sex marriage.

With a slight jump in sales and a climb from No. 39 to No. 17 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, you’d think that Kelly Clarkson would be spending her days celebrating the recent success of Stronger. Instead, it seems that the FOX reality star is caught in the middle of a political firestorm.

What happened? It all started on Twitter….

“I love Ron Paul,” Kelly recently tweeted. “I liked him a lot during the last Republican nomination and no one gave him a chance. If he wins the nomination for the Republican party in 2012 he’s got my vote. Too bad he probably won’t.”

Though her comments got her some support on Amazon and a number of new Twitter followers, Clarkson also received a bit of backlash from fans – er, former fans – who accused her of supporting racism and blasted her for endorsing a candidate that’s for the death penalty and opposes same-sex marriage. (Newsletters published in Ron Paul’s name in the 80s and 90s included a few racist sentiments. The Republican candidate recently acknowledged that the “terrible” words were written by someone else.)

Kelly took to her WhoSay page to address all of the buzz:

“Man, my eyes have been opened to so much hate tonight. If y’all ever disagree with something I say, please don’t feel the need to attack me. I will listen to what you say and any articles of viewpoints you have when you say it with respect. Being hateful is not a healthy way to get people to see or hear you.

“If you don’t agree with me simply unfollow me,” she added. “It’s really that easy.”

Three words for you, Kelly-you go girl!

America-here's our chance to keep 2012 from ending in Armageddon!

For all you readers who do not know Ron Paul-don't believe the negative hype!

While Ron Paul does not have the same camera appeal as some of his debate opponents, he's the only one who is telling it like it has and HAS BEEN saying the same thing for quite a while now.

You want some REAL CHANGE?

Ron Paul is the real deal!

While Doctor Paul is polling a strong second in New Hampshire, during the televised debates, Congressman Paul has been ignored.

Why do you suppose that is?

Maybe because the media KNOWS that Ron Paul speaks from a foundation of FACTS based on years of study.

Remember the debate? When asked what they would be doing if there was no debate, every candidate said "watching football," except Dr. Paul.

He said, "reading an economics text."

So when Ron Paul says he knows how to fix the economy, guess what-HE KNOWS!

Look back on thirty years of his speeches, the message is consistent.

What are you waiting for?
